iMethods is currently seeking an Interface Analyst for a healthcare client in Jacksonville, Florida. The Interface Analyst’s main role is to monitor and maintain the functioning of all interfaces used by/within the organization. This includes working all edits/errors associated with each interface. The Interface Analyst is also responsible for technical/application troubleshooting, quality assurance and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide support for existing interfaces and the development of outbound/bidirectional HL7 interfaces
  • Analyze and document interface specifications
  • Test, deploy, and validate interfaces to achieve project sign off from internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the functioning of applications and make recommendations for change.
  • Manage and maintain Corepoint interface engine.
  • Provide cross training to other team members
  • Assist in the development and implementation of application policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintains an understanding of institution-wide business/clinical applications as well as those applications with which it interfaces.
  • Assists integration of applications with other applications.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and respectful support to users, employing high degree of customer-service skill and technical expertise while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or relevant work experience
  • Experience: 3-5 years of IT Interface Experience

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience:
    • At least two years of business/clinical experience working with interfaces or knowledge of the functioning of such in a healthcare environment (HL7).
    • Strong background with Corepoint preferred
    • Experience with development, testing and conversions preferred
    • Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
    • Strong collaboration skills such as working with multiple teams to accomplish a goal
  • Typical Mental Demands:
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Must be able to follow and understand instructions and react favorably in all work situations. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels within and outside the Baptist Health. Ability to do math calculations, input data into the computer, and analyze data as requested.
