iMethods is currently seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer – Unified Communications for a healthcare client in Jacksonville, Florida. The UC Engineer – Contact Center assists and/or leads in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and troubleshooting for UC Contact Center systems of moderate to high-end complexity. They participate in planning, architecture design and engineering. They integrate and schematically depict communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links into complete configurations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform design, documentation, capacity planning, implementation and support of complex communications and contact center systems.
  • Evaluate new products and assist in the development and documentation of technical standards
  • Administer IT controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of UC systems
  • Perform detailed troubleshooting utilizing Avaya tools
  • Develops and ensures compliance to all disaster recovery and security policies
  • Accountable for leading and managing large-scale cross discipline technical projects
  • Solicits vendor proposals, RFI/RFPs, performs evaluations and recommends the most appropriate solution to management
  • Fully knowledgeable of cross-platform integration issues and troubleshooting processes from application perspectives

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Avaya Support Profession Specialist (ASPS) or equivalent Avaya Aura experience required.  Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist (ACIS) or Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS) preferred
  • 4+ years’ work experience in a contact center environment.  Must have experience working in a large, complex corporate environment.
  • Must possess senior level proficiencies in the configuration, support, and deployment of medium to large-scale Avaya Aura UC and Contact Center environments.
  • Must possess excellent technical problem isolation/problem solving skills across various components of the Avaya Aura platform.
  • Must be able to develop, socialize and operationalize highly complex UC solutions necessary to meet business requirements, to all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to lead network related projects and coordinate with project managers and lines of businesses
  • Senior level experience with Avaya Aura platform and associated components such as WFM, WFO, CBA, AEP, Breeze, Workspaces, CMs, SMs, and Gateways
  • Experience working with resellers such as CDW, AGC, or Presidio.
  • PC Skills, MS Office, Project, VISIO, Ticketing

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working with carriers such as Verizon, CenturyLink, or AT&T.
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment.
  • A.A or B.A / B.S. degrees strongly preferred.
