iMethods is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Systems Analyst, Surgical Services (SurgiNet) for a Contract to Hire opportunity with a wonderful client in Los Angeles, CA.
Role and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for build, testing and support of the EMR. Main focus for this Sr. Analyst: implementation of the SurgiNet application and supporting medical devices across the health system.
This analyst will engage or facilitate design and complete design worksheets or other supporting documentation, build tasks, lead or participate in testing and engineer solutions to meet the needs of our clinical customers.
Strong systems and clinical knowledge of perioperative and anesthesia processes; application knowledge of Cerner SurgiNet and Anesthesia.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated team player with implementation experience of Cerner Millennium, demonstrated understanding of clinical/hospital workflows, IS Change Management, working knowledge of Cerner Biomedical device integration Hardware and Software, Unit/Systems/ Integration and User Acceptance Testing Skills.
Along with project work the Clinical Information Systems Analyst (CIS) is accountable for successful technical implementation, enhancements and strategies with focus on system integration & maintenance of SHIELD and other clinical systems.
Systems analyst role requires healthcare (SurgiNet) application expertise, technical expertise with build tools and project management skills (gathering business requirements), script development and validation skills.
Analysts are expected to comply with domain management: Testing of upgrades, domain refreshes, test script development and understanding the downstream effects of changes made to production.
