iMethods is currently seeking a Senior Financial IT Business Systems Analyst for a healthcare system in the Melbourne, FL area. This is a full-time position, and will require candidates either live in, or relocate to the Melbourne, FL area.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for assisting in the operationalization and maintenance of a Technology Business Management (TBM) solution designed to position IT leaders with the knowledge to manage and communicate the quality and value of IT Services.
  • This role will also play a part in the overall IT governance processes as well as assist in the administrative oversight of overall internal IT performance as it relates to managerial reporting, internal IT performance, career progression models, IT initiatives, and other IT administrative services. 
  • In collaboration with the Director of IT Administrative Services, this role will develop and maintain performance and development systems for IT associates, projects, and leadership initiatives.
  • Performs work that is varied requiring process improvement suggestions and implementation. All other duties as assigned.
  • Gathers functional and business requirements and rapidly translates information into a working set of operational and financial models, dashboards and management reports.
  • Import, transform and rationalize data from systems of record into selected TBM tool.
  • Operationalizes data monthly by loading, validation and reviewing on a timely basis
  • Performs monthly forecasting and budget reconciliation and analysis for AWS and Cloud Management Platforms.
  • Participates in collaborative efforts with domain leads, service lines and PMO to drive improved communication and shared direction.
  • Supports the TBM process and functions as a subject matter expert.
  • Challenges status quo and drives fit for purpose process that are appropriate for the maturity of the IT organization.
  • Assists with the development of an IT financial forecasting process.
  • Identifies cost / benefit of IT portfolio to properly identify gaps and articulate business value.
  • Participates in review process to ensure overall budget/forecast consolidation and review results in successful IT objectives and financial goals.
  • Helps create, maintain, and grow Capability & Competency Model that will encompass every key IT role – model will include definition of roles, pathways / techniques for professional development and growth, a capability and competency evaluation framework, and ongoing tracking and reporting.
  • Drives the adoption of in scope internal IT performance tracking systems across Health First’s IT organization.
  • Assists with the creation and maintenance of internal IT dashboards and reporting for associate and IT leadership use.
  • Reviews and understands IT initiative requirements to effectively assess the return on investment from a financial, process, and system perspective
  • Effectively communicates and gives presentations on the strategy and status of internal IT performance systems to associates and leaders.
  • Manages IT Administrative team goal tracking and status updates.
  • Provides solutions that meet the business objectives and deliver on time, on budget, with a high degree of quality.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree complete or in progress and will be obtained in 2 years or less.
  • Five (5) years in an analytical role. In lieu of a degree, an additional (5) years’ experience in IT analytics, finance or related field may be substituted.
  • Report creation and maintenance
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Experience with analytical models, senior leadership presentations, understanding of IT infrastructure domains, knowledge of IT services and financial management process and best practices
