iMethods is currently searching for a Senior IT Project Manager for a large health system in Jacksonville, Florida. This position will require candidates to either live in or relocate to the area.
The Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure is to provide project management and business analysis expertise in managing complex projects around application integration, application deployments, application development, infrastructure unification, and helpdesk. This individual will be responsible for the research, planning, resource allocation, project structure, timeline, implementation, and management of projects. Duties will include but not be limed to maintaining project plans, budgets, vendor negotiations, resource allocation, process modeling, business analysis, issue management, progress reporting, and communication throughout the project life cycle.
Understands duties and responsibilities, has necessary job knowledge, has necessary technical skills, understands company mission/values, keeps job knowledge current, is in command of critical issues.
Qualifications (Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills):
• Knowledge required to perform at this level is generally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree; or generally a minimum of 5+ years experience in a related field. Post-graduate education in computer science or a technical-related field preferred, but not required
• Certified Project Manager, PMP
• Expert knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Microsoft Office Pro suite, and other project management tools.
• Successful track record of managing business process improvement and systems integration initiatives with on-time, within budget delivery using proven project management practices and structured methodologies.
• Minimum of successfully leading two system design projects that included significant process implications.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business/technical problems and select, design, or implement information technology solutions in accordance with business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct research and recommend changes in an existing, changing, or emerging environment.
• Demonstrated competence in managing the work of vendors and/or subcontractors, vendor negotiations and contract development.
• Demonstrated exceptional communications, interpersonal, leadership, and management skills in delivery of client services
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
• Build teams utilizing skills in leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation, and troubleshooting to ensure projects complete on-time and within budget.
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed, with keen attention to detail.
• Able to conduct self-directed research into application integration issues and products.
• Ability to work in a team environment yet is self-directed, proactive, and action-oriented.
• Minimum of successfully leading two system design projects that included significant process implications.
