iMethods is currently seeking a Data and Identity Management Analyst (SYSTEMS ANALYST). The Data and Identity Management Analyst will be focus on driving a culture of continuous improvement through optimization and quality assurance of our clients Master Data Management (MDM) and Health Information Exchange (HIE) platforms. He/ She must be comfortable working with team members across multiple departments. This position is a new role created to centralize and elevate the initiative of Provider and Patient Master Data Management as well as the quality of data with our Integration Applications.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in development and maintenance of data dictionaries, to include identification of business-critical fields.
Maintain vocabulary mapping for new sources of data and ongoing operational maintenance
Set Master Data standards ensuring data quality and compliance
Assists with system test approach, test cases and scripts, predicts and evaluates test results, implements and executes the test cases, validation of test cases
Preforms regularly scheduled Data Quality Assurance reviews of the HIE and MDM platforms
Participate in meetings and develop dashboards or presentations as requested to explain the data stored, the quality thereof, and recommended improvements
Data stewardship to maintain accurate and unique Provider identity within the Provider Master Index
Provide reporting coupled with suggested actions to leaders whose teams provide master data inputs, to reduce data quality issues, non-value record maintenance, and process deviation.
Coordinates downstream notification of provider identity updates, both systematic and manual
Maintains accurate documentation of the datasets being sent from each source to our integration application systems
Develop understanding of Baptist Health’s data domains and their integration points.
Identify and lead data cleanup projects to improve data accuracy
Develop and implement a periodic review, inclusive of robust reporting, of all master data to ensure data is current and accurate across business functions, conforms to business rules, and meets data quality standards
Participate in data governance initiatives across the organization that are aimed at the standardization of data based on defined models

Qualifications:
Experience with Healthcare applications, interfacing and infrastructure for medium to large sized organizations
Medical terminology or coding experience, expertise in working with common health care data semantic/ vocabulary representation (e.g., ICD-9/10, SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm, ICD-O, etc.)
Demonstrated mid-level or above proficiency with MS Office Excel, analyzing and manipulating large datasets.
Strong business aptitude, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong analytical abilities with experience extracting data and developing reports in a hospital environment.
Understanding of provider credentialing business functions
Strong understanding of how data is used for reporting and transactional activities
High energy and a positive attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment capable of embracing change
