iMethods is currently seeking a Customer Support Informatics Specialist (CISS) for a healthcare client in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time position and will require candidates live in OR relocate to the Jacksonville area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible and available for ongoing end user support, training and customization of the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR), Dragon voice recognition, CORES patient management and other key clinical system applications
Dedicate to be readily available for on-site elbow to elbow support to physicians and health care providers, as well as serve as the clinical application subject matter expert that will facilitate end-user training of the Cerner EMR software and other key clinical applications
Serves as the liaison between the Informatics department and Information Services and Technology core teams in order to resolve system problems that present
Supports physicians and other health care providers by providing continuous physician support and identifying opportunities for clinical information system improvements
Promote adoption of the EMR by providing education, focused rounding and creating multimodal educational materials
Will educate and coach medical providers and staff on clinical system application workflow and provide relevant clinical system application tips to improve workflow efficiency
